Hey dudes and dudettes. I'm working on a fanfic right now based on my current RP in TRS and my characters, as well as yours. So in the interests of fairness I am asking your permission to use you characters names and likenessess. If I do not get your permission, or if you refuse to give it, I will not use them. They're yours and yours alone, so don't feel like you have to say 'yes' just becuase I'm your friend... I am your friend right?  Anyway since I dont have a DA or Fanfic.com account I'll post it here when it's done, where it will be open to your constructive critisisims. |

Rufi, your the comic relief, Machy your his straight man  . Yeah, the story itself predominantly takes place in the past and doesnt concern the other characters own, its just a sort of back story. All your characters would appear in the present settings but not in the back story itself. |

Umm, bit of a problem at my end. It seems as if my hard drive has carked it and I will need to get a new one... and hopefully I will be able to save all that I have written by transferring it over but I don't know.

Ok, got a new HD, motherboard, CPU, exra 250Mb of RAM (which takes me up to 1Gig of memory now) and some fancy rounded cables that are all shiny and stuff. I just need a splitter so I can transfer all my data over from my old HD to the new one and I'll be back in business!!! Plus now I'll be able to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. without it crashing ever time I load it.
Jess and WL, still waiting on your permission to use your characters in my fanfic.

Ok, bugger that last post. It seems that the extra strain put on my Power Supply by all my new gear has made it go Chernobyl on me FFS!!!!!!! Ok, another week and I'll get some case fans, I'll get so many GD case fans my PC will sound like an A380 on final approach!

It's stuck at chapter 2!! Usually I back up my Fanfics every month but this one was new so I didnt have time. I have, however, been going over it in my head so I should be able to catch up.
On a slight side note I rushed to the local Electronics shop after work yesterday to buy some case fans and you know how they where charging for them? $40!!! EACH!!! Bugger that, I can get them for $10 at the weekend computer markets, so this weekend my PC shall LIVE!!!

Praise the Lord! It's all working again, HD, video, STALKER, internet, everything! Only thing is now I need to keep hounding my dad to get off his lazy ar$e and transfer the data from my old HD over to the new one. Unless someone can tell me how I'm still stuck as far as the fanfic goes.
And about that, I suppose now that she is in the RP I can reveal that my fanfic will be about Kei and Xacio's past. Particularly it focuses on the events that shaped them into who they are and their relationship with each other. I plan on making Kei my main character since she's a good guy and I can't really participate in the main storyline with a bad guy. Heh, funny thing is that I originally penned her as a villain who would pretty much be like what Ulrask is (but still Khrohali, not a big pointy demon-thing.). Expect her bio up soon!

OK, good news and bad news.
Bad News: there is no chance of recovering what i had already written, my old HD is so corrupted my antivirus just goes "DEVIL BEGONE!" whenever I attempt a data transfer. So I have also lost my stand-alone story that I had been writting all year and never backed up....cest la vie I suppose.
Good News: I now no longer have an excuse not to write my fanfic, and have already gotten about to halfway where I was. I can also change a few things around to make it better, and now that I have a DA account I have a place to post it!!!!! Still a bugger about my other story but...I did back up an old Kurumi fanfic that I have long since lost interest in...
