Since the subject was raised that we have no collective idea of what and where the character's base is, any objection to making Novaya Nadezhda it? Even as a secondary base, just until we establish where in Tremorton the base of operations is.
BTW: in an artistic mood. I am willing to draw a complete map of the facillity, as well as the mural that dominates the hanger wall.

*raises finger*
Sounds fine for me. Are you going to draw it free-hand or with a program via Computer? If the latter is the case, which drawing program(s) can you recommend?

Paper and pencil. Thats all I can use. I've finnished BTW, both the base design and the Soviet-style mural. Just gotta scan them both and colour the mural. I was inspired by this image: These mountains are in Greenland, but are indicative of the type Novaya Nadezhda is built into. They're called nunataks,a Kalaallisut word meaning mountains that are mostly buried under pack ice or glaciers but have their tops above the surface. They are common in the Antarctic as well.

K, base map and hanger mural design up. I was going to colour the mural on the PC but its way to tedious. I'll use pencils and repost later: PS: sorry for my scrawly handwriting. And the mural is meant to look crappy, seeing as it was painted half-arsedly on bare concrete by frozen, low-paid, disgruntled Soviet ELInts and SigInts in the 1980s as a morale raising exercise. No, it didn't work much.
