Name: XJ-9 A-106
-nicknamed "Claudia"
Age: 88
Robot or Human: Robot
Chronological age: over 88 years
Strength(Rating 1-10 scale): 5
Weaponry(If any): Possess standart XJ-9 unit weaponry. Back in the years when XJ-9 0 "Jenny Wakeman" was defending Tremorton, this was state-of-the-art. In the present day, most human guns are way better than her built-in weapons.
Due to this, XJ-9 A-106 is much weaker and inferior in practically every single point to most modern XJ Type units. Her reflexes, speed, and overall performance remain vastly superior to that of humans though.
Despite her inferior abilities, XJ-9 A-106 is one of the most experienced and battle-hardened soldiers on Earth, having fought countless foes through the years. Her equipment, although very much primitive by now, has been upgraded noticeably through the years. Her main ability however is simply due to her nature as a XJ unit ; due to her robotic living weapon nature, XJ-9 A-106 can wield large, heavy human weaponry as if they were handguns and fire them with more accuracy and much faster than any human can. This may include dual-wielding weapons that humans normally never could.
XJ-9 A-106 is far from being an one-man army and she knows it ; her obsolete built-in weaponry, inferior reflexes and speed, and overall more fragile armor and systems means that although she may outmaneuver and defeat a more advanced XJ unit in single combat or even a small squad, larger numbers of enemies will force her to seek cover and assistance.
Weaknesses: Water, magnetic fields, high-penetration weaponry
XJ-9 A-106, like most robots, was not designed for underwater operations and as such, will malfunction if submerged underwater for too long, leading to an emergency shutdown of her systems.
Likewise, her armor and systems are made of the same primitive alloy that used to make up earlier XJ Type robots, meaning that she is affected by magnetic fields.
Finally, although her armor is actually fairly effective (although less than more modern XJ units'), her systems are incompatible with most force field shielding systems, meaning that she lack shielding. Thus, high-penetration projectiles such as ultra concentrated "rail gun" beams and piercing gun rounds will go straight through her armor and damage her systems directly.
Personality: As an early generation XJ-9 unit, her personality was created closely after that of XJ-9 0 "Jenny Wakeman". Overly happy, youthful, optimistic, but also naive and stubborn at times.
Countless years of constant fighting has dellusioned her though, causing many changes to her original progamming. XJ-9 A-106 remain strongly idealistic but does not have the same care for life as XJ-9 0 had, believing that villains should not be allowed a second chance and being unusually cold and devoid of hesitation toward killing others. Her mind shaped by her battles, she take her duties very seriously and tend to be impatient toward those who may prefer to goof off. By extension, XJ-9 A-106 has developed a strong dislike for paper work and other things that "get in the way of her original mission". She will stomach small work in peaceful times or if no other work is available to her but things such as being forced to go through an organization's bureaucracy before heading off to the battlefield has a way of making her circuits overheat.
Despite it all, shades of her original XJ-9 model personality do tend to show when she is off-duty. Whenever this is a good thing or not vary on the person ; some may like a hard worker who knowns when to have fun while others may see her as a two-faced freak with a split-personality complex.

Notes: XJ-9 A-106 work as a soldier-for-hire as opposed to a town-dedicated super hero as XJ-9 0 did. Her role is, in a way, closer to that of Misty in canon (will save towns and planets for money). XJ-9 A-106, being more idealistic, will not walk away from innocents nearly as easily though ; although she expect a reward for her deeds, she is a lot less demanding and in many cases, simple gratitude (and maybe repairs to her systems) will do.
As far as to how such an "ancient" robot can be around at the setting's time, two backgrounds can be used.
Either as a long-running independant XJ-9 unit who managed to survive through the years by taking jobs and choosing her battles well or as an ancient XJ-9 unit who is found and re-activated in the present. Due to a shortage of warrior units, those who re-activate her fieldtest her and discover that despite obvious limitations due to being an older model, her performances do make her useful.
Use in RPs: standart heroic character, versatile and useable in both dramatic battle-filled stories and less-dramatic, more character development/"random" RPs.
XJ-9 A-106 will most likely be my main character ; if someone wants to use her, PM me or talk to me via MSN first. We'll discuss the details.
