Kei groaned and swatted at Ash's hand. Hers eyes opened and she sat up, looking around the room. "Right. Where is he?" she said with a snarl, "I hope you left enough of him for me!" Kei lept to her feet.

"No.We atomized him."
Ash stands up and walks toward the blast door to exit the room.
"Well. That could have happened. But Urufu stopped me.", he says without stopping.
"He left a minute or so ago.And he wants you to know that he is "still looking"...I assume you know what he means?"
Before Ash can hear an answer,he is already in the room where they fought the war droid, looking for his beam sword. He finds it and picks both pieces up.After a short inspection,he throws them into a little pile of garbage.
"The doc would kill me...", he mutters.

"So what made you go 'mad foam rager' on him?" Urufu asks. "Be a little more sensitive, would you?" Machaeus snorts, smacking Urufu on the back of the head.

But Kei doesn't answer. The others turn around to see her standing next to the disabled Mk IX wardroid, staring into nothing and clenching her fists. Without warning she screams -though a female Khrohali's scream is more like a human male's roar- and roundhouse's the robots crest, her toe claws leaving deep gouges through the red Soviet livery. "That son-of-a-b*tch!!" yells Kei. She stands there breathing hard for a few seconds, regains her composure and looks to the others. Though she's smiling she looks close to tears. "Just...just when I think I can hate him with a clear conscience he goes and says something like that..." She walks up to where the others are. "Can we just go now?"

"Yeah.Lets go.No need to stay here any longer."
That said, Ash goes the way back they came from. Near the end he slows down. The dark area was more problematic than he thought. It was already difficult to see something while his sword provided a little light. But now, without any light it was nearly impossible. So he proceeds one step at a time until he could see a light in the distance.
As he steps out through the damaged blast door, he covers the lens on his forehead as well as his eyes. The sudden change of light hurts his eyes at first, but it gets better from second to second.
"And now?", he asks the group. "Back to Tremorton?"
As Ash asks this, he feels good all of a sudden.Even though he wasn't able to achieve anything. He is back where he started. There never was a group fighting the EDF.Xacio answered some questions, only to cause more confusion. And he wasn't able to beat Xacio.Even if you could call it a draw.

"Where's Tremorton?" asks Kei. She picks up Gordon off her belt, "Hey Gordy wh- Gordy?" But the little AI doesn't respond. The light in his camera is off. "Oh no..." says Kei, more annoyed than anything. She flips over the remote unit and pulls off its back cover. After playing around with his insides for a second, he springs back to life. "No, don't go in there... wait, hang on a tic, where am I now?" asks Gordon, his camera rotating around, "Last thing I remember is headin' towards some fight an' then bang, I'm off to sleep." "Zeke shut you down, probably to shut you up." She laughed at this thought, but suddenly stopped. Her tail curled, her ears pitched from on direction to another and she sniffed at the air. "Guys, I think we should-" Her sentence had just barely left her mouth before dozens of soldiers dressed in desert camouflage appeared almost out of nowhere. Also out of nowhere, two pairs of giant mechanical legs stepped over the dune behind them as two 20 meter tall SEC Sobakavojna wardroids entered view. Overhead came the thunderous sound of the intermeshing rotors of a Mil Mi-77C 'Hydra' assault transport helicopter, its nose and wing mounted cannons trained on the group. "Attention," boomed a Russian accented voice from the chopper's loudspeaker, "you have violated restricted airspace and are trespassing on SEC property. You are under arrest. Offer no resistance or you will be fired upon. This is your only warning."

"We found what we came for - he's gone now, and we were just leaving," Urufu says. "Search us if you like, we have nothing that was once a part of this - " His face drops and he slaps his forehead. "Sh!t. I forgot my - hey, I'll be right back, okay?" Machaeus grabs Urufu by his shirt, causing him to choke for a split second. "We can ask them to retrieve it for us," he says. "My companion left a weapon back in the remains of a robot that attacked us. You can't miss it, it's a greatsword - no tech to it. Is there any chance you can bring it out? We want no trouble with you."

The soldiers advanced, weapons ready. One squad roughly pushed past and into the buried facility while the rest surrounded the group and marched them into the open. "Who are these guys?" asks Kei. "Spetsnaz," answers Gordon, "SEC special forces. An' not just any old spooks. See that logo on their arm? They're Alpha Group, counter-terrorist specialists, so for the sake of me ailing circuts don't do anything stupid." One of the Sobakas knelt down over the group, its immense frame throwing them into shadow. Illuminated on the robot's shoulder was a single figure, a soldier, female, wearing a balaclava that hid everything except her burning green eyes. When she spoke, it was in a light Russian accent but with an underlying conviction in her words. "We don't get many visitors out this way. Especially since it's an internationally designated No-Fly-Zone. There are any number of crimes you can be prosecuted with, so you had better have a good reason for being here." "Who the frack are you?" says Kei. This woman was intimidating. Kei didn't like being intimidated. "I am the Major, that is all you need to know. No what are you doing here?" upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Alpha_antiterror_group_emblem.png

"Like my friend already said...We were looking for someone.", Ash began in a calm tone.
"And thats all YOU need to know.Look.There is no reason to fight.Yes, we entered this "No-Fly-Zone".And?We haven't caused damage to you or something else which belongs to you or your nation."
Except that war-droid.But its been lying under the garbage for how long now?
Ash doubts that they are even interested in that thing, as he looks at the gigantic monster over him. He scratches the back of his head, followed by a short sigh.
"So?Would you..."please"...let us go?We just want to go home."
He really had to fight some sort of inner demon to get a "please" out.Especially since he didn't know this person at all.

The Major jumped down of the Sobaka's shoulder onto the sand. "Well that's good to know, but that still isn't a good excuse for trespassing in a restricted area." The squad of Spetsnaz who entered the base came back out, one of them carrying Urufu's sword. He handed it back to him. "Look I'd like to let you go, honestly I would. It's been a long day and I've already got my fair share of paperwork to do and processing the particulars of three foreigners and an alien, who without visas flying in an unregistered spaceship crossed into one of Earth's busiest shipping lanes and blew a hole in the side of an abandoned Soviet-era base for God-knows-what reason. So I'm afraid I simply can't let you go." Her comlink beeped. "Just one second...да... да...количество? о'кейо, дело." She closed her comlink. "Well, I'm letting you go." "What?" Why?" Kei asked, looking confused. "Something more important than you came up." said the Major, calling in Russian to her soldiers to gather, "You should feel lucky, most who meet us don't get off so lightly." The Hydra descended, blowing up a blinding wall of sand with its twin rotors. The soldiers boarded the chopper while the Sobakavojnas grabbed onto the wings. The Major was the last one on board. As the massive helicopter rose and turned she leaned out the door and waved at the group. In a few seconds they had disappeared into the heat-haze of the desert horizon. "What the hell was that about?" says Kei.

"More important than us?Xacio maybe?Whatever it is, I am glad that it appeared.", Ash says as he looks after the disappearing group.
"We shouldn't think too much about it.If it is HIM, he can handle it."
He looks a last time at the facility before he walks to the ship.

Urufu stares at the sky. "Well, I for one learned something." Machaeus stares at him, then sighs. "What is it?" he asks, unenthused. "I need a better memory. I forgot my sword like three times." "You NEED to learn that we just played a very dangerous game and came out of it mostly unscathed. That's pretty impressive, if you ask me." "One thing at a time, Mach. One thing at a time." Machaeus sighs again and smacks the werewolf in the back of the skull. "Let's just go home." "Can I drive?" "You mean MAY you, and no, you can't. I remember the last time you got your claws on a spaceship." "Care to enlighten me how that was BAD?" "Well, you could've gotten killed. You landed in the Skyway Patrol's silver arsenal." "Oh...yeah. Huh. But it still blew up half their base." Machaeus laughs. "I can never tell if you're just a jokester or dead serious and that stupid." "I'm half-kidding. That's how I cope with life." "Ah." Silence. "So MAY I drive?" "H3ll no, I'd sooner cut out my eyeball for a spell component, and I'm sure Gordon doesn't want to be scrap metal prematurely." "Aww..."

"I'd rather I not be scrap metal maturely either." said Gordon from Kei's belt. She walked up the shuttle's ramp into the cabin. Though they had been on the ground less than an hour it there was already a layer of sand over everything. Dusting off the pilot's seat Kei sat and plugged Gordon in. "Well, home we go I guess." said the AI cheerfully, his balding, pixelated, disembodied head avatar smiling on the centre sceen. Kei was playing with some sand, pouring it from one hand to another. "Yeah. Home." The Khrohali put her large feet up on the console. "You know, it just occured to me that I don't have anything. Nothing." she grabbed the collar of her blue overalls to illustrate the point, "This cretzing thing is the only set of clothes I have. I've got a multitool, a knife, a uniremo*, 4 ration stamps for," she pulled them out and looked, "2 loaves of bread, 1 litre of water and- and thats a transit token! All of them only valid on New Eden; except the fracking token which is used!" Kei reached into her other pocket, "1 packet of Milkduds, 3 empty packets of milkduds, what feels like a bolt and-" her hand felt something hard and cold, a chain was attached to it though it was too large for any locket or necklace, "...something else. "I've got no ID, no credits, I can't even get a job because I probably don't even exist on any records anywhere in the Galaxy...And I have nowhere to go." "Y'can always stay with me." says Gordon, "I'm like a flyin' one-bedroom apartment with a cleaner ensuite!" "Gee, thanks..."

"Don't worry. You can still find a job. Many people don´t ask you about your past or where you are from.", Ash says as he enters the Shuttle.
"And I´m sure that you can find something better than...this.", he says while pointing at several things in the shuttle.
"No offense, Gordon."
