((Get well mate, and read my latest fanfic update when you feel better.))
"Yeah, well, lets not be forgettin' who's flyin' you home now." said Gordon indignantly. Kei smiled. "Thanks. Hey listen, I'm not going to mooch off you guys or anything ok. I'm going to get a job and pay my share, and if you guys ever need something fixed, flown or fought then I'm your gal." she flexed her arm. The shuttles engines thrummed as they warmed up. "Right, we all set then?" asked Gordon, "Back to Tremorton?"

"After being across the galaxy, and back but halfway across the world, yes, I'm ready for home," Machaeus sighs. "Didn't you say you needed desert salt for one of your potions experiments?" Urufu asks. Silence. "Meh, I can just make a portal back here." "Then why didn't you do that earlier?" "Tired, moving at insane speeds in mountainous terrain, remember? Not to mention that wall that not even Gordon knew was there, and he had a perfect map of the place." "Okay, point. So why don't you make a portal to home NOW?" "...good idea. You object to that, Gordon?"

"No, I just want to get somewhere where I can rest me circuits, I 'avent had a workout like this in years." Kei raised her hand. "I'm all for getting to, Tremorton was it? Yeah, that, I wanna get there quick... but you suppose you could open up the other end over the coast? I'm kinda hoping to see the ocean again." She stared at Mach with puppy-dog eyes that made Urufu's previous attempts seem like they were from a mongrel suffering conjunctivitis. "Please?"

The mage laughs. "You didn't have to do the eyes..."

Machaeus portal envelops the shuttle, and in an instant it was gone from the Central Eurasian deserts to a few miles off the US eastern seaboard.
Aral Salt Flats, S.E.C., approximately 50 kilometers North East of Vozrozhdeniya.
As it cruised low over the barren land the massive down-draft of the Hydra cause a miniature sandstorm to follow in its wake. Inside, shielded form the heat, sand and noise the Spetsnaz Alpha Squad celebrated another job well done, even if they really didn't do anything. The Major walked up the aisle reviewing her troops, and snatched a bottle of Vodka that -like always- had been smuggled aboard. She peeled up her balaclava to take a swig before handing it back. Then, she pulled out her datapad and requested her account information. It showed a neat little increase of 100,000 credits. "<Deal's gone through boys, looks like we eat tonight!>" she yelled in Russian. Her squad cheered as she distributed an equal share of the funds to each of their accounts. "<So what was the deal Major?>" asked one, "<You said the next lot of foreigners we caught snooping around was going straight to the gulag.>" The Major went quiet for a second. All eyes were on her. "<I owed someone a favour, and they called me on it>" "<Who?>" asked another soldier. She gave him a look. Not unfriendly, not threatening, but still intimidating. They all knew it and knew its meaning in this case. 'Thats for me to know, and you not to ask about.'
Tribunal Chamber, Chi'et'c Class Observation Disk, Dominion of Zeta Reticula Border Zone
The chamber was large, dark, and unerringly symmetrical; a caricature of the Zeta Reticulans themselves. At it's centre was a pillar, lit from the bottom up by four small lights. About halfway between this and the outer wall a circular section of floor lit up. APPROACH. The voice seemed to come from everywhere. Into the circle, battered, bruised, but no less undeterred, stepped Xacio 555. He bowed at the pillar. YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO REPORT? "Yes." said Xacio, "I believe my search has yielded results." "Surely you don't mean," began one voice. "those uncouth Earth thugs," said another. "and that beast you seem intent on stringing along." finished the third. It took less than half a second for Xacio to figure out where the voices had come from, the other half of that second was spent aiming. He fired all five rounds from the .500 handgun, only to see them suspended in the air in a straight line starting an inch from the barrel. The three beings entered their own circle of light. They looked over to Xacio. "Temper temper." said the one nearest. "You." even with his immense self-control Xacio was finding it hard to resist the urge to rip into the Watcher with his bare hands. Not that it would do any good. "You knew that she was with them, and yet you told me otherwise. I specifically requested that-" "I thought it'd be better if," "you didn't know. I believed that she could," "present a... conflict of interest." "Ssken'diyst!" hissed Xacio in Hssketh. "No need for that type of language." ENOUGH. said the voice, XACIO, WHAT DID YOU OBSERVE WITH THESE HUMANS THAT WE HAVE NOT? WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT? "Everything. One commands a mastery of the arcane sciences that I have not seen matched by any being of the galaxy. One exhibits feats of healing and strength unequaled by most. The other...has potential. Even if he does not yet realize it." "Overexaggerated," said the Watcher, "I assure you that," "none of these humans meets our criteria." Xacio clenched his fists in quiet rage. "Has anybeing? Has any one of the millions you have allegedly screened met the standard that I set out?" "Remember, these are primitives we are dealing with here-" "Do not talk of them like that! Lack of technological prowess does not give you credence to call these races 'primitives'! They have achieved in a few millenia what took our races a million years!" "Only because," "we laid the groundwork." "And what gives you credence to enlighten me on," "humans? I have been observing them for 2 million," "years. How long have you?" "You," said Xacio, "can, as a human would say, 'shove your observations right up your-'" CEASE. said the voice, no louder or quieter than before, but with an edge of assertiveness that shut up the bickering pair, XACIO, IF THIS THREAT TO OUR GALAXY IS AS GREAT AS YOU CLAIM IT TO BE, "It is." THEN YOU, OF ALL BEINGS, MUST SURELY REALIZE THAT PLACING THE LIVES OF TRILLIONS INTO THE HANDS OF SUCH A YOUNG AND VIOLENT RACE IS FOOLISH. YOUR FINDINGS ARE NOTED, BUT THE SEARCH WILL CONTINUE. The lights around the pillar faded, and the doorway through which Xacio entered lit up. THIS TRIBUNAL IS ADJOURNED. After the Xacio had left the voice spoke once more, this time to the Watcher. WHY MUST YOU ANTAGONIZE HIM? "I suppose I find it fun." the centre one shrugged. "That's what I get for interacting with humans for so long," "I become a little more like them," "every day." I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU GET A MEMORY WIPE, IF I DID NOT KNOW BETTER. CONTINUE ON YOUR SECONDARY ASSIGNMENT WATCHER, WE FEEL THAT THIS OUTSIDER IS LIKELY TO STRAY FROM THE TASK. ESPECIALLY WITH HIS...ATTACHMENT TO THAT BEAST. IF HE WERE FREE FROM THIS THAN THIS PROCESS WOULD BE EASIER. "I did try... but," "complications arose." IF YOU TRY AGAIN, MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE NO TRACE. All three forms bowed to the pillar as their circle faded. "By your command."

"Here we are.So, what now? Do you just want to enjoy the sight? I mean... its just water." , Ash asks as he takes a peek out of one window.
He suddenly remembers how surprised Kei was as she seen all the water while they were in space.
"Ah. Never mind. Enjoy earth. Its your new home after all."

Urufu stares at Machaeus, who seems to be shivering. "Did anyone get a sense of dread suddenly?" "Have we eaten recently?" Everyone's stomach's growl. "I suppose that takes precedence for now. But before I eat, I should on doing some fast scrying." "Fast scrying?" Urufu asks, his eyes widening. "Didn't you nearly go into a coma last time?" "Only because my limits were unknown at that time, and I was testing them. I haven't made the same mistake since, because I know my limits now. And I told you that lack of sustenance connects a person to their mana more, so why are you so worried?" "Maybe because lack of sustenance connects a person to their mana more. Why do you have to not eat in the first place for that?!" "We mages have studied that for almost a thousand years, and still found only a theory - that you are more aware of everything when you're starving, not just mana flow, and it hasn't been proven or disproven due to lack of people who care." "Whatever. If you end up in the hospital again, I'm going to say, 'I told you so'." "Relax. I'll eat after 24 hours if I don't have anything...and I've got like 6 hours until I reach that benchmark." After a couple hours, they have parked outside Dr. Vikel's lab, and Urufu shows them the way in once they disembark. "We'll have to clear some space in the hangar for Gordon," the warlock notes. "And quickly. I wonder if I can make a big enough bag of holding for some of the big junk..."

((Man, I was planning that previous post of mine to be the last post of this thread...we've been doing this for a year now, if you guys can't think up another RP then I've got a few. Would it be possible to run multiple RPs at once?)) Kei steps out onto the street with a lot more grace than she had done in the desert. She stares up into the sky, half expecting to see the other side of Tremorton curved around on top of them like the New Eden cityscape she grew up with. Instead there was just the sky. The sensation of depth overwhelms her, and once again Kei has to hold onto anything she can just to keep her balance. "That is going to take some getting used to..." she says before going inside.

((What? A year already? God... time goes by so fast... I´m currently writing the introduction for a short RP. I just need another day or two. I can do this... with the power of a huge amount of coffee and cigarettes. For multiple RP´s at once: Sure, why not. I just don´t wanted to create a new one since I counted your´s as Xacio´s Introduction-RP and something like a continuation of the one I created. Like an ongoing story, you know.))
"I´ll come around later. I still have something to do." , Ash says, while taking his helmet off for the first time since they had left earth to find Xacio. His hair is wet and his entire face is covered in sweat. He doesn´t move for a few seconds. He stands there, just enjoying the fresh air and the wind.
"Time to go home.", he says, even though it was quiet enough to be considered as a whisper. He then begins to walk down the road and disappears around a corner.
((Argh...Spell Check doesn´t work. And before I forget. Like you said, Tachyon: It is a pleasure to work with you Guys!))
