Vannessa is the grandaughter of Phineas Maug. She seems to believe she is unparralelled in genious and believes that her grandfather's name ought to be respected. She has a deep rooted hatred of the Wakemans(for making her grandfather look dumb) and of Ruri, for outdoing her time and time again. She hates Alex as well, for passing on the Wakeman ideals. Vannessa does stuff in a mad rush, so it comes out worse than planned.
