Race: Demon (Subspecies Balor)
Age: 10,869, give or take a century
Strength (1-10): 11
Weapons: Flaming Greatsword, Claws, Fangs, Hooves, Oversized Bat Wings
Personality: Depraved, Hateful, Evil...he's a demon, whaddaya expect?!
Weaknesses: Ice- or Holy-based weaponry/magic, radiation (to a limited extent), horrible fear of soil, sand, and other earth (except earthenware - clay pots etc.)
Current Status: Sucking his thumb in the Infinite Layers of the Abyss (being trapped in the Elemental Plane of Earth, squished for 150 years by infinite weight...of course he's scared of the ground)
Appearance: Large (easily 10 feet tall), wingspan 22 feet (including area between shoulders), blood-red skin, hair from middle of head down back of neck
Garuu'Shak was born of primordial Demon-Ooze after the Infinite Abyss was founded, beginning as a mere shock trooper and quickly ascending the ranks. As he did, he gained more powerful forms until he became a balor, the greatest of all demons. He led thousands of assaults on the devils (the sworn enemies of the demons) and even charged into He!! itself a few times. However, after being bound to human will one too many times, he forsook his strength and weaknesses as a demon to become a blacksoul - a demon with no truename.
A demon's truename is what allows a mortal to bind the demon in question to his/her will - speaking the name and a command would force the demon to do the action. In forsaking his truename, however, he lost his demon nature, and was forced to grow on his own, not be magically altered by Demon-Ooze. Though it made him a lone wolf as far as demons go, he swore fealty to the Abyss as though he had never changed.
It took little time (by demon standards) for Garuu'Shak to grow in power, soon becoming on par with his balor form. At this point his great-great-grandson, Machaeus, dueled him and sealed him within the Elemental Plane of Earth, an existance made purely of soil and rock. It was here that Garuu'Shak's anger reached a boiling point, but his struggle was to no avail. In time, he became fearful of the soil, and when he broke free, he whimpered like a puppy abandoned at but a week of age whenever he saw anything to remind him of his imprisonment. He will steel himself against this fear, however, to fight Machaeus, and for no other reason.
Garuu'Shak may switch back and forth between the form above (balor form) and the one below (blacksoul form). In blacksoul form, he has a unique appearance - no other demon or blacksoul will ever look like him (at least while he lives).
Blacksoul Appearance: Brown fur, muzzled head with spikes on crown, approx. 8'6".
