The Armmagedriod Crisis

In the year 27 BXJ9(2041 AD), Skyway Patrol created a megabot for special defense. The massive machine was called Arma.

However, Arma rebelled and began to run amok, destroying everything in her path. Nora Wakeman, who was a soldier of Skyway Patrol at the time, managed to trapped Arma in a volcano.

Global Response Unit Project

Following the events of the Armmagedroid Crisis, Nora Wakeman began a new mech project.
The premise of this experiment would be to create a more sentient robot that can think, distinguish, and decide what to do in the event of any distress at any point on the globe. This was called the "Global Response Unit Project".

With the aid of a currently unknown scientist, Nora built a fully functional robot utilizing a revolutionary program language called Cyber Shell. The robot behaved more human than previously imagined. Nora became very fond of her creation.

After a few test runs, the robot began to exibit unknown errors and, like Arma, began to run amok. It was later discovered that a virus had been present in the robot and was transmitable to other machinery. Becuase of the irregular nature of the virus, the robot was simply label "Irreg", the first of it's kind. Nora took it upon herself to stop the irreg.

Following the battle, Nora learned that the virus ran independantly from from the irreg's main OS. She could not bring herself to destroy it as Skyway Patrol had ordered. The robot was secretly sealed away in a hidden location.

Since the robot held limitless potential, Nora renamed it under the serial number "XJ-0".
The technology used to create "Zero" would be used again years later.

Global Response Unit Project 2

After the failure of Zero, Nora continued with Skyway Patrol for many years and eventually resigned. Her desire to create a robot that could protect the world lived on.

Nora accessed the original schematics of XJ-0 to begin "Global Response Unit Project 2". The goal of this project would be to fix the flaws found in Zero and ceate a perfect conversion. 9 robot were the result of this project:

XJ-1: Fuel consumsion and mental integrity. Model Failure.
XJ-2: Weapon test. Model Failure.
XJ-3: Bodily integrity. Model Failure.
XJ-4: Test of environmental awarness. Model Failure.
XJ-5: Vocal test. Model Failure.
XJ-6: Test of self awarness. Model Failure.
XJ-7: Test of self preservation and capability. Model Failure.
XJ-8: Test on mission focus and physical strength. Model Failure.
XJ-9: Test fo all reformatted XJ-Series Model systems. Model Successful.

To lessen the feriocity that was present in Zero, each model was made feminine, unlike the original who was masculine.

This project led to the creation of XJ-9 AKA Jenny, the ONLY successful conversion of the original.

XJ-9 is the most mentally stable and well armed model of the series.

The first attempt to create the perfect soldier. Embryos were genetically modified, all in different ways to see which worked best. The children were trained in an academy that would teach them only the information they needed to know, no games or sports unless they were relevent to their career as soldiers. One day the academy was attacked, only a handful of the students survived, Students RHM,CY3, CTO, FGH, AEF and QDR.
CY3 was deemed to dangerous.
RHM was deemed useless in combat and put into Cryo.
the others were modified further, and later sent into combat.

the Elritricyr Conflict
Ametris, a european nation, tried to invade the peaceful nation of Elritricyr. For unexplained reasons Skyway patrol and several other organizations assisted Ametris. When it seemed that Elritricyr would lose, Hicksville and Shiaze, a large empire and militaristic nation, stepped in and ended the conflict. Often refferred to as 'the dark sky incindent' due to skyway's strange involvement

XJN incident
A scientist(Unknown at this time) tried to recreate XJ9, instead they created a powerful irreg that went on a rampage through Tremorton. It was responsible for the deaths of 23 people, including Champ's wife. It also caused several injuries. The incident changed Champ and Ruri, Champ became more resigned and depressed. Ruri was the same emotionally, however she sustained an injury that causes her to cough up blood when under extreme stress.
