*door to lab bursts open and skyway agents head through*
Ruri*still narrating*:it turns out that Mr.Wright was correct, there was more valuable information in the lab, but once we found 0 there was no time to waste.
Skyway soldier:well, Xjs 1-8 have been destroyed.
SS2:that's a shame.
SS3:sir! sir! i found something!
SS:what is it boy
SS3*runs back with a bundle of papers*:their schematics for more Xjs, 10-20.
SS:well, i'm sure Dr.Maug will want a look at these...
*at Skyway Outpost Alpha*
*door opens and the 3 skyway soldiers enter*
Vannessa:well, did you find anything?
SS:yes ma'am*hand schematics*
Vannessa:excellent, but theres nothing made by a Wakeman that a Maug can't improve...
*outside, about halfway across Tremorton*
Ruri:my 'vannessa maug is going to kill everyone' sense is tingling.

Ruri:seriously, i have the feeling that shes dooming us all.
Champ:how?
Ruri:it's a feeling, it doesn't give me specifics.
Champ:relax, i just want to know how i'm going to die.

Alex is hiding in a dark alley. Her clothes show extensive wear. Her glasses lens are cracked . She has deep dark circles around her eyes.
Alex:(thought and peering around the corner)I can't go far until nightfall or I'll be spotted for sure.. YIPE someone's coming..(hides)Wait. Is that? It is! I can trust her!
Ruri is walking down the street.
Alex:PSST. Ruri
Ruri: WHOZAT?! SHOW YOURSELF!
Alex: Calm down ruri, it's me.
Ruri: Dr. Sherwood?!

Alex: That's right champ. It's me.(steps out of shadow)see the shell of a being I've become...(sighs)

Alex:take a look on that!(points to poster that says WANTED FOR BOMBING DR ALEXANDRA SHERWOOD)I've been running for 7 years..I DIDN"T DO IT!!! It was an accident..the prototype blew up when I went to get the president of MIT..and he got hit in the head with flying shrapnel..the one man who could vouch for my innocence: DEAD, FINITO! I tell you, champ, I'm too old for this crap! I'm fifty-freakin'-five years old! "Who? Ms. Personality, Great-Grand-Whatever of Phineas Maug?" They turn to see Machaeus. He's currently dressed in street clothes. "If I remember correctly, she's caught up in the endless red tape of the Skyway Patrol. Or did that change in the last 100-plus years?"
