Ed*leads them to the old Nergal building and takes them to the hangar, which is still kept in good condition. *:Make yourselves at home, for the moment at least.
Champ:Well, Ed, now that we're safe, can you tell me why you Mazer Rachame'd yourself.
Ed:I stayed on that starship for two reasons, one, Nergal had an heir other than Tessa, so if something happened to that heir we could come back and take over, I dare say that the heir made a decision that warranted out return...
*Ruri has looked nervous throughout this and begins to cough up blood*
Ed:RURI! Are you alright?
Champ:She's fine, I think you just stressed her out a little

Machaeus touches her shoulder, and a black light streaks from Ruri to the mage. She is no longer coughing up blood, but Machaeus has a bit dribbling from his mouth. "Empathic Transfer is normally a psionic ability," he explains after spitting, "But I learned how to do it with magic."
