"Of a sort, yes. However it's not the minds of living beings that he commands, but those of machines. It was a most helpful ability to have in missions that required a little more...discretion. Suffice to say that despite the effectiveness of my men and women they lack, for the most part, both stealth and self-control. Xacio's ability to defeat even the most advanced security grid without resorting to blowing it up was useful to say the least."

"Oh 'eck." mumbles Gordon.
Ulrask peered at the little remote unit. If he could have moved on his own Gordon would of hid in Urufu's pocket.
"I would not be so afraid. To control something as complex as an A.I. takes extraordinary concerntration on his part. The same goes for robots. The more intelligent they are the more difficult it is for him to control them, but he doesn't have to dominate their minds in order to defeat them. Many times I saw him convince secruity droids to give him access to secure areas by convincing them he had the right clearance. Some of the humans under my command called this a...Jet-Eye Mind Trick, or something to that effect I believe."

Ash sighs again before he continues.
"A pretty good fighter with no obvious weakness.Must be my lucky day...",he mumbles.

"I'm afraid I do not know," said Ulrask with a shrug of his broad sholders, "Of the many talents he has, disapearing is one he uses well. But fret not young human, for there are was to find-"
The Denoberian's speach was interupted by the large doors at the end of the room swinging open, bringing forth, along with a welcome gust of cool air, 3 armoured mercenaries and a secuirty bot. Being supported by the front two was a bloodied, dull-red furred humanoid dressed in a blue worksuit. It was Kei.
"Oh dear," said Gordon worriedly, "You alright lass?"
Kei smirked at him. "S'not my blood."
And she was right. On closer inspection the mercs were bloodied and bruised, and one had what looked like teeth-marks on his arm, blood oozing from them now mixing with sweat from the heat. A human with a facial cut and a black-eye stepped forward.
"Sir, we caught this one in the storeroom. She was trying to get at the MRE's when we caught her. She...," the man gingerly touched his swollen face, "resisted a little, sir."
Ulrask frowned as he studied the Khrohali, then smiled and stood up. He walked towards her, but despite his ferocious appearance and near 9ft height she stared right back at him. He laughed, but Kei kept on staring.
"Well, well. Of all the coincidental meetings that I have seen this one surely ranks high," he pointed at Ash, Mach and the others, "You comming here seeking Xacio, and her winding up here at the same time."
Kei kept on staring, but her ears twitched at the mention of Xacio's name.

"Okay.Okay.I don´t know in which way she´s connected to Xacio.
But I assure you that this really is a coincident!",Ash says,weaving with his arms.
"We don´t even know her.We met her on the transit.Thats all!"
He shouts at Ulrask before he looks at Kei.
"What are you even doing here?"

Kei shurgs. "I was hungry, and these kregs have a stash worth the risk. Funny running into you here, small world huh?"
The Khrohali crossed her arms defiantly, weather directed at Ulrask or the group was uncertain.
"And yeah, I know, knew, Xacio. I knew him better than most. And while were all here getting the truth out in the open why don't you, Kit'jhec, tell these rather naive humans about the 200 heavily armed mercs you got waiting to ambush them right outside the door?"
Ulrask seemed not to be bothered about this revalation.
"Ah, it seems as though you have forced my hand." he let loose a shrill whistle, and several dozen mercs of various species entered and circled the chamber.
"You really should have thought a bit harder before walking in here, nay, landing on this station even, when your friend Ash has quite a considerable bounty on his head. But all of you need not die, we only want him. Of course, feel free to do the whole 'hero' routine and stay with him; we could use the target practice." Durring this speach, Kei has, unbeknownst to the guards, very slowly pulled a small metal cylinder from one of her pockets. She glances to the others with a 'trust me' look in her eyes.
"And you," Ulrask addressed Kei, " too long have we tolerated your continual forrays into our stores. I shall end your life myself."
He rasied a large laser pistol to her head, but she did not move. "Your friend can't save you now."
"Who says I need him?" In a flash she pressed the metal tube and rolled to one side. All at once sirens howled as the fire suppression system activated, spraying the room and its occupants with water and inert gases. The heat of the room vapourised most of the water before it hit the floor, instantly filling the space with a thick blanket of steam.
Kei crawled over to the others as shots rang out overhead. "Come on, lets get out of here!"

"Hey I see 'em!" yelled a voice. A blue laser bolt shot through the mist, followed by a cry of pain from the other side of the room.
"AH, me leg!" yelled another merc, "That was ME you flippin' moron!"
More bolts and cries yelled out as the soldiers shot at anything that moved, mostly being themselves.
"Gotcha!"
"My arm!"
"Sorry, man."
"I see them!"
"I've been shot!"
"Fire!"
"Hey, you almost shot me in the head that time!"
"There!"
"ARRR!! Me other leg!! You shot me again you stupid b@stard!!"
"Well, sorry I can't see a th-AH! Hey you did that on purpose!"
"WILL YOU ALL STOP GETTING SHOT AND FIND THEM!!!" Roared Ulrask.
Meanwhile Kei had led the others out into the hall and was prising open a metal plate in floor.
When it was open she swung herself into it. "You guy's comming?"

"Throw more DoTs!" Urufu smirks, leaping below.
"I heard 'em!" ZAP!
"OW! YOU MORON YOU SHOT MY EYE! WHAT THE FU - " But by now the group is long gone, and the floor is over the exit again.

"I never thought the EDF would even consider to pay aliens for hunting me."
He turns around around an fires his beam cannon in direction of
the big door they just ran out.
"I´m such an idiot...",Ash mumbles before he follows Kei and the others.

Slipping down the chute the groups finds themselves in a dank and rancid sewer pipe. Suspect liquids swirling around their feet are only a momentary distraction as a loud metallic shrieks echo through the space. Kei, already several meters ahead, calls back.
"Hurry up! They're closing the fire doors!"
They run past several before comming to one almost half-way down. Kei rolls under, ignoring the foul-smelling water.
"Come on, this is the last one!"

Urufu morphs, pulls out his sword, and slices a good werewolf-sized hole in the door just as it closes. He then kicks out the pieces and leaps through. He morphs back, gagging as he gets his face out of the horrid water. "Good LORD I do NOT wanna know what these people EAT!"
"OR I could've ported us through," Machaeus says, stepping through.
"But cutting through was more fun," Urufu grins.

"But a lot more stupid!!" yells Kei, "Now they'll know which way we went! Why the frack would you think I'd come this way, for the scenery?!"
She continiues running down the pipe. Behind them the last chamber starts to fill with halon gas, which then begins to billow out of Urufu's hole.
"Come on, we need to get as far as we can before they realise one of those segments isn't sealed off."
