Episode 6- Limits of Power

GOALS:

1. Return Jackie to the lab and help her ecover.

2. Share each others powers and weaknesses.

[Jessie Winkler]

"Oh no, oh no, oh no."
Jessie busts though the lab doors, holding a young girl with curly black hair in her arms.
"Dr. Vikel! My cousin needs help, quick! Jackie used too much power in her robot form, and that drained her human energy. She's unconscious, and from the looks of it she might be close to dying..." Jessie had tears in her eyes.

[Machaeus]

Machaeus is up by now and staggers over. "Do I need to drain myself even more?!" he scowls, then fills his arm with blue energy. He transfers it directly to Jackie. Finally, he begins snapping for no apparent reason. "I just barely got any mana from my five minutes of rest. I'm on edge from being exhausted. In addition, I think my demon blood is acting up as a result of my being tired. Wake me up - in an hour." He then trods back to the couch he was laying on and lies down again.
Urufu walks in, hauling White Lightning. "Come on, you can hang in there until Mach powers you up again."
"You're too late. I need rest before I can give another mana transfusion," Machaeus snarls, hardly capable of controlling his voice.
"Aw, D4MMIT!" he mutters. "Is there at least some sort of recharging station?" he asks the doctor.

[Jessie Winkler]

Jessie was a little shocked from Machaeus' outrage, but she started to speak despise that. "Thanks, Mach. You don't know how much that helped. Though I suggest you rest. That Black Lightning really did a number on you."
She turn to the rest of the group. "Does anyone know where a recharger is? Preferably that works when Jackie is a human?"

[Machaeus]

"But if Mach recharged her, she should be fine," Urufu says. Indeed, Jackie's vitals have stabilized with that bit of energy transfused to her. "Lightning here needs the recharge station. I think I've seen this before - so drained that they shut down automatically."

[Jessie Winkler]

Just like Urufu said, Jackie instantly wakes up. Jessie gasps and looks down at her.
"Jackie! You alright?"
"Eh, I'm fine. It's not like I'm gonna die or anything. I could use a rest though."
Jessie sets her on the ground, and she lazily moves to another couch and plops on it. Before too long, she's asleep.

[Machaeus]

"See? Machaeus came through."
"Stop singing my praises and let me SLEEP!" the warlock shouts.

[Jessie Winkler]

"Oh, sorry," Jessie whispers. Jackie suddenly wakes up.
"Huh... wha?"
"Nothing, just go back to sleep."
"Okay." She lays down on the couch.
"In case you guys are wondering why we had to use our wind based attacks the whole time, it was the only thing we had that could stop them. But, since those attacks are so powerful, it really took a tole on Jackie's energy. That was all we could do though. Think of Robots + Water = Not a good idea."

[Machaeus]

"Interesting," Urufu says, tilting his head. "So why is she human all of a sudden, as opposed to being a robot? Eggman screw up again?"
(He's referring to the Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog comics - one of the fat /b/tard's weapons of terror is a machine that removes free will and transforms its victim into a robot. IE, he's making a nerd reference. Just in case someone doesn't know.)

[Jessie Winkler]

Jessie was reluctant to tell him at first, but he was her friend, and he was on the same side as she was. Plus, he's wanted to know for quite awhile.
"Well," she began, "Jackie and I have these things called robonizers. They're programmed so they only work for us." Jessie pulled hers out of her jeans pocket and showed it to Urufu.
"When I press this button here, a light forms around me, and I transform into a robot." She points to a shiny purple button. "When I press it again, I go back to my human form. Jackie's works the same way. It's hard to explain, really."
"Actually, Jackie's used to belong to my sister Jane. You remember her, right? She died in a battle, and I let Jackie reprogram her robonizer." Jessie hung her head.
"One thing that hurt her was that she was blasted in mid-transformation. I never want that to happen to Jackie, so I protect her with my life. That's why we sometimes run away when we see a villain."
Jessie looks up at Urufu. "Since you know now, you need to cover our disappearances. Can you do that?"

[Machaeus]

"The others have a right to know, I think, in case something bad happens," Urufu states. "I don't want to explain this multiple times either, so maybe we should talk about it when everyone's awake and fully powered. In the meantime, I'll charge up WL here - I think I found an outlet." Urufu plugs White Lightning in and steps back. "Speaking of which, as you already know, I have my own transformations. Werewolf and all. And Machaeus is 1/16 demon and a warlock. Never mention the Pope around him, because he's had...bad experiences with the Church. They're convinced that he's out to corrupt mortal souls. If he were up to that he'd never have sealed away his great-great-grandfather. That, of course, would be his demon ancestor. Don't get me started on that guy, he's bad to the bone."

[Jessie Winkler]

"I meant the villans not knowing, not our group. Sorry about that. And next time I'll try to be brief." Jessie says.

[Machaeus]

"Okay, sure," Urufu smiles. "No harm in that." He then sits down, transforms, and begins scratching his ear with his foot. "Aah, that feels good."

[Jessie Winkler]

Jessie glances at Urufu, a little creeped out. "Okay... so how's WL doing over there?"

[Machaeus]

"What? Dogs do this all the time, it's instinct - and wolves are close to dogs.
"And WL ought to be fine, unless she gets a virus from the outlet, which is a near 0 chance." He stops scratching, stands up, stretches, and transforms back into his human form. "So where're Champ and Ruri?"
